Project Description
I worked in the student engagement department ensuring that various programmes and departments are able to promote their offers to students across the Coventry University Group locally and internationally. The departments and programmes I continually support but are not limited to; World Languages, Go Abroad, Summer Schools, Talent Team, Global Leaders Programme (GLP), Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and Virtual World Tour. I support the teams by accessing what they require and how we can promote their offer across the university including staff, students and partner universities.
I use marketing research to put together marketing plans which require me to plan, write content and organise the creation of marketing collateral with the design studio. I collaborate with stakeholders across the university to ensure the campaign/programme is promoted across all possible channels. Once the programme/campaign has been promoted I use the data that I am able to collect to understand the outcome so we can learn and improve campaigns every time. If I am not working on specific campaigns I ensure that all programme information across our websites and marketing collateral is up to date, create content like student stories, news articles etc and manage social media across all platforms for all of the programmes.
The assets that I worked on to promote programmes are; student and staff portal, Coventry University external website, emails, social media, print, banners, video/photography production, brochures, flyers, posters and documentation.
